Cardi B reluctantly learns some wild behind-the-wheel skills from Fast & Furious star Michelle Rodriguez… despite not having a driver’s license

Cardi B has yet to earn her driver’s permit or license, despite owning more than five cars and being eligible to operate a motor vehicle for the past 13 years.

Earlier this week, however, she enlisted Fast & Furious actress Michelle Rodriguez to teach her some basic behind-the-wheel like how to parallel park and avoid collisions.

In the latest episode of the Grammy winner’s new Facebook series Cardi Tries, she explains she ‘really’ doesn’t ‘know how to drive’ because she took a train until she was ’22-years-old.’

The Bronx-born and raised rapper began the segment by revealing now that she resides in California and Atlanta she’s found it to be ‘very important to drive.’

‘All the stores, it’s so far. Especially now that I have a kid, and, when my baby wants something, I have to go get it,’ she said since moving out of New York City.

She, later, vocalized her fears, nothing she takes her ‘life very seriously’ because she’s a mother to her two-year-old Kulture, who she shares with husband Offset.

Upon arriving to a race track, she appears genuinely nervous as Rodriguez and a professional stunt driver reveal their agenda will go way beyond the fundamentals.

As she sees cars speeding around, she tells her pal on set: ‘I don’t know what Michelle got me doing. That’s too much.’

He agrees, saying, ”Yeah, this looks wild.’

‘So I get to this track and I’m seeing all these people driving all crazy and sh*t and about to run me over,’ she said in a confessional as footage shows her saying she didn’t want to participate.

Rodriguez looked amused by Cardi’s reaction, while the performer says she doesn’t want to learn ‘all of this stuff right here ’cause that’s scary.’

‘All I wanted to do is learn to park,’ she reiterated, explaining she doesn’t even have a driver’s permit.

With a stunned expression across her expression, Rodriguez tells her not to worry as stunt driving ‘is the best way to learn how to drive.’

She goes on to introduce Jalil Jay Lynch, who has been a professional stunt driver and coordinator for over 30 years.

Reminding him she has a child, she admitted to thinking learning how to race looked ‘very dangerous’ considering she has no experience behind the wheel.

‘We’re going to teach you a bit of evasive action driving,’ he said to calm her nerves. ‘So that’s safer for you on the streets.’

Not listening, she replied: ”This don’t look safe!’

Teaching her specifically how ‘not to crash’ was Brie Lynch, who has worked as a professional stunt driver for films like the Fast and Furious 8 and Black Panther.

'She knows everything about 180s, rolling your tires, racing down a track,' Rodriguez told the WAP hitmaker of Brie Lynch

‘How do I even make a car move?’ Cardi responded, before later telling a cameraman that ‘they think I’m kidding, but I really don’t know how to drive, period.’

Not sure if she’s being serious or not, Jalil reminds her the left foot is the break and ‘the right one is the gas pedal.’

They ultimately jump into the car to try a standing burnout and to do a timed obstacle course.

The Bodak Yellow crooner finished the segment by thanking her instructors for teaching her to drive in a different environment than she anticipated.

She, then, told Rodriguez she thought they were going to have their lesson ‘in an empty parking lot.’

While she told the crew she felt ‘confident now,’ Cardi later admitted she ‘just’ wants to be a passenger and ‘not be thinking’ about the speed limit of other people’s safety.
