Cardi B has spoken out on postpartum depression, admitting she had an emotional day on Monday with her newborn daughter Kulture.

The new mother took to Instagram four weeks on from the birth of her first child to admit she’s been struggling to cope with her rollercoaster emotions.

The Bodak Yellow hitmaker told fans: ‘This postpartum sh*t is annoying. Like I been emotional all f**king day for no reason (sic).’

Cardi B welcomed daughter Kulture with husband Offset last month, and has previously admitted that the lack of sleep has played toll on her mood and looks.

She said recently: ‘I wish I could show you my face but a bitch look f***ed up in the game! Like, my hair’s f***ed up. My eyes are so dark and puffy. Like, I’m wild pale like a bitch looking like she got jaundice. But I just really want to say thank you to everybody … I’m just been so busy and so tired and in like a different world, a different dimension – I like it like that. It’s doing so good…’

‘Let me get back to this mommy thing. Let me tell y’all something. No matter how many books y’all read, advice y’all get, y’all will never be ready for mommy mode.’

Despite the sleepless nights, Cardi has still managed to get herself back in the studio to make some music, posting on Twitter: ‘Today I’m going to finally step out and hit the studio .Cook up some new music for yaaa. I love ya. 16 weeks on the top ten thanks to Bardigang!’ (sic)’

She also shared an Instagram snap of her elaborately manicured hand wrapped around a microphone on Monday with the caption ‘ease my mind’.

The devoted mother revealed last week that she has changed her nail shape to benefit her daughter, taking her fingers from pointy to square so she won’t ‘hurt her baby.’

‘Ok so if you noticed i changed my nail shape from pointy to square so i won’t hurt my baby,’ wrote the rapper.

‘I’m thinking about only changing my pinky nail shape back to pointy so i can take my babies little boogers out.’

Cardi has rocked long pointy nails throughout her career, so it’s a big change for the star.

On Saturday, she shared her first full-body photo since giving birth to daughter Kulture.

In the image, which the 25-year-old rapper shared on Instagram and Twitter, she sits on a brand new blue Lamborghini across from her husband Offset, 26, who sits on a green Lambo of a similar model.
