Coach Luis Enrique outlined PSG’s detailed plan to help Kylian Mbappe win the Golden Ball more easily.
Kylian Mbappe is considered by many to be one of the best players in the world at the present time. His impact on the club and the French team is undeniable. This star often makes a difference in important matches, notably France’s two World Cup finals.
However, this player has not yet won the Golden Ball once. This year, he ranked third, behind Lionel Messi and Erling Haaland. PSG coach Luis Enrique affirmed that in addition to individual achievements, collective success also plays a role in the Golden Ball election.

The Spanish strategist added that PSG will aim to win as many titles as possible so that Mbappe can take home this individual title. Enrique told Le10Sport:
“Obviously to win the Golden Ball, in addition to maximum individual performances, you must win club and team titles. We try to win as many titles as possible in Paris and obviously as a player of Kylian’s level I have no doubts about his level. And I’m sure he will win many Golden Balls. I confirm so.’
Kylian Mbappe was PSG’s top scorer last season, with 41 goals and 10 assists in 43 games. He also ended his journey at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar as the top scorer, scoring 8 goals, including a hat-trick in the final.
However, Mbappe only won Ligue 1 last season at the club level. FIFA World Cup champion Lionel Messi and treble-winning star Erling Haaland are clearly the favorites thanks to their outstanding titles.
