Hoda Kotb admitted she had a painful “epiphany” that made her realize her long-term relationship with her ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman was over.

“I loved Joel then, and I love Joel now,” the TV personality told Today.com in an interview published Tuesday.

“I just had to remind myself that it was a different kind of love. You can still love and admire someone and not want to be in a relationship, a long-term relationship that way, personal relationship.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the retired “Today” show host revealed that she was a “pretender” in relationships and hinted that she drags them out longer than she should.

“I am a total phony in my relationships,” she said. “I think sometimes you know that a relationship is — I would say good — but you think to yourself it’s not deepening.”

The TV personality, however, isn’t in a rush to find another man, saying she’s just “waiting to see what happens.”

An elderly worker was thrown to the ground and ruthlessly attacked by a teen during an NBA YoungBoy gig as concertgoers watched the disturbing assault unfold in front of them.

Thomas Schlange, 66, was working the rap concert at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City Sunday night when he asked the teen to move because he wasn’t sitting in his assigned seat, Fox 4 News reported.

Fan-record footage shows the teen throw Schlange into a row of seats and unleash a barrage of punches onto the arena worker.

Schlange said he doesn’t remember much from the assault, only the teen’s rage and needing to get away to safety.

“I mean, it is serious; I went down and had blows to my head,” Schlange told Fox 4 News. “He was so enraged, so we were just, in essence, trying to protect the fans.”

The disoriented usher then tried to get to his feet, but the teen stood over him. Schlange raised an arm to defend himself, but the teen repeatedly slapped it aside.

The teen then angrily delivered a series of violent punches to the 66-year-old victim’s head before one good Samaritan stopped the attack.

Police arrested the teen after the violent outburst on Sunday night, but he was later released to his parents while authorities continue to investigate.

The Kansas City Police Department confirmed the teen was under 16, and it’s unclear what charges the juvenile may face.

Schlange was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. He had already suffered glaucoma and “one of his eyes may suffer more damage,” his family said on a GoFundMe page created to help with medical costs.

“We are devastated for the injustice of this person and other attendees that didn’t stop that guy at all,” Schlange’s grandson Herber Lopez said.

Schlange said after nearly two decades on the job, he never imagined he would become a victim of such a violent assault at work.

“The message is: we, as young adults or people growing into adulthood, we need to learn how to control our anger,” he said.

Schlange is expected to meet with police on Friday as they continue their investigation.

A spokesperson for the T-Mobile Center, Shani Tate Ross, told the outlet that the attack on the employee was “horrific” and unacceptable.

“This isolated incident does not reflect our venue, our city or the thousands of guests of all ages who enjoyed the show without incident,” Ross said. “Violence of any kind is unacceptable at T-Mobile Center.”

The video of the assault, which has gone viral across social media, has heightened public concern regarding youth violence and event safety.

Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas’s office condemned the violence and asked the public to share any information about violent assaults during the concert with police.

“Concerts, sporting events and community gatherings should be safe places of joy and connection, not fear or harm,” the mayor’s office told Fox 4 News.

“The venue will work with KCPD, our prosecutors and our employees to ensure the assailants are identified and charged for the criminal conduct that occurred Sunday evening.”

Following the violence that broke out at the T-Mobile Center, the United Center in Chicago announced it had canceled an NBA YoungBoy concert set to be held on Wednesday night.

The venue did not provide a specific reason for canceling the show, but no other shows scheduled at the venue have been canceled.

The Baton Rouge-based rapper, currently on his “MASA Tour,” is on his first tour in five years.

Cardi B has made some shocking claims about her estranged husband, Offset.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, alleged that Offset, 33, is trying to hold her “hostage” more than one year after she filed for divorce.

She made the allegations during an X livestream on Monday, Sept. 22.

“Because, you know, for men, we don’t wanna go to the doctor,” he said.

Further testing revealed a high-risk, non-muscle invasive bladder cancer, an aggressive form with a 50 percent chance of returning. At the time, Sanders faced two difficult options: having his bladder removed or undergoing 36 weeks of chemotherapy.

He had previously admitted that the “options scared me to death.”

Just nine days after his diagnosis, Sanders chose surgery to remove his bladder.

“I prayed on it. And I’m aggressive, man,” he explained his decision. “I ain’t waiting. I ain’t sitting back on the curb waiting to go slowly but surely do whatever’s gonna happen.”

Doctors rebuilt Sanders’ bladder using part of his intestine, a procedure that left him in excruciating pain during recovery.

“It was tough,” he said. “So, I remember laying there and they said, ‘Well, you need to go try to pee.’ That was the most excruciating pain I’ve ever felt in my life.”

“I remember just on the ground in the bathroom, and I’m just screaming because it was so much pain,” he added.

Despite the challenges, Sanders said he never regretted his decision.

Now cancer-free, he remains candid about the lasting effects, including nighttime incontinence and the physical effort required to use his reconstructed bladder.

“Some nights I go through two pairs of Depends a night. Like, some nights are bad,” he shared.

Sanders returned to the field this summer, leading the Buffaloes with renewed purpose.

For him, sharing his story is as important as his recovery.

“You know how many people’s goin’ through this foolishness?” he said. “But men never talk about stuff like this. We hide it ’cause we wanna be big and strong and massive and not vulnerable. No, man. This is real. This is what I’m dealing with.”

His faith appeared to have been central to his strength.

“The Bible clearly depicts that in this world we’re gonna have tribulation,” he said.

“I choose to rise up, man, not to stay down. I choose to share,” he continued. “And I want everybody to understand you can make it, man. We all got somethin’ we fightin’. Who out there right now ain’t fighting somethin’? It may not be cancer, but it’s somethin’. But you can overcome it. We can do this.”

ABC reporter Ginger Zee had a rather unexpected reaction to a nasty comment from one of her viewers, admitting that she’s actually “flying high” after receiving the email message following her latest broadcast.

The meteorologist shared a screenshot from her inbox on Instagram yesterday, Sept. 22, with the simple, vague subject line of “Nose.” Underneath, in the body, was a hateful piece of so-called fan mail: “Should have kept your original nose now you look like everyone else. Too bad.”

However, according to Zee, she’s never had any work done on her nose, and accomplished the impressive appearance with her own makeup talent.

“That moment you beam with pride because your nose contour was THAT GOOD…” she quipped in the caption. “I do my own makeup for @abcworldnewstonight so I don’t always get it right. But tonight, I was nose job good.”

“I’m seriously jealous! ,” one admitted. “nose job good is talent!”

“The ultimate compliment is when your contour is on point,” someone else agreed.

In response, Zee admitted, “I’m flying high on the compliment ,” leading others to prod, “ we might need a makeup tutorial!”

“What a wonderful compliment …I think he meant to say ‘I think you have the perfect nose’,’” another added. “Oh wait, he did say that. Ginger for the win .”

“Omg who has time to do this You always look amazing! They hate you cuz they ain’t you!” others continued to gush, and it’s true that the broadcaster’s fashion choices often leave fans “gasping.”

One applauded her for keeping her “sense of humor through all the crazy comments,” with one lamenting, “People are so repugnant these days.”

“People can be rotten!” another agreed. “I love your happy twist on interpretation.”

“Haters gonna hate!!” somebody else acknowledged. “Classy response though….”

“ god I love how you handle this sh-t!” another rejoiced.

Zee is known to respond to her critics with the “perfect clapbacks,” and isn’t shy about calling out inappropriate or uncalled-for messages.

Fans have also applauded her thoughtful responses to critics of her reporting, with some previously accusing her of “sensationalizing” her weather reports.

“We don’t need to make weather dramatic, it already is,” she pointed out at the time, as folks complained about her use of the term “life-threatening” to warn of massive amounts of rain. “I promise we are only using those terms if it’s a true hazard.”
