“It is a competition, we need to start thinking of ourselves.”
There is always a fair share of drama on The Block, and a fiery new feud has now torn four friends apart.
Log-gate has caused a huge rift between houses three and four as tensions have escalated to near-breaking point.
With lots of drama already happening on the show, here’s a refresher.
While the contestants worked on their kitchens, they had the opportunity to claim some timber and logs for their landscaping.
The contestants were told it was first in best dressed, so Taz tried to claim all of the logs by tagging them, which left a bitter taste in Sonny’s mouth.

In retaliation, Sonny also tagged some himself and said he did not care if Taz was unimpressed.
Determined to get back on track after they copped harsh feedback from the judges, Sonny said that they re-submitted their landscaping plans to include arbours.
Things all came to a head during this week’s body corp meeting, when the plumber put the police officer on blast, and said the couple was “greedy”.
“Are you calling us greedy?” Britt asked.
“In a sense, yes,” her best friend Alicia clipped in return, still annoyed at being neglected by her.
Irritated, Britt then said she thought the Gold Coast couple was purposefully winning the $10,000 budgeting prize. So far, Sonny and Alicia have won it five weeks out of the seven.
“It’s a bit of a grey area,” she said, which sent Alicia into a spiral.
Before she walked away, Alicia tearfully said she already felt upset, because she was left out when 2023 winner, Steph, came with her husband, Gian.

Is Britt and Alicia’s friendship over on The Block?
The body corp meeting came to a bitter end when Alicia said her friends in the real world would not do that.
“Your friends aren’t on The Block,” Taz said flatly.
After this exchange, she said she felt “mortified” and that his comments were “nasty”.
“It showed me that they didn’t care, so that was really hurtful,” Alicia lamented in a piece-to-camera.
When Steph was in Daylesford, she spent a lot of time with Britt.
To Alicia, she said it was an unfair advantage.
“I’ve lost my BFF Britt to Steph, while they’re here on The Block, I’ve noticed they’re becoming quite friendly,” she said during kitchen week.
Not only that, Britt also went shopping solo after promising they’d go together.
